Modern Art

A powerful way to convey a message is through art.

Art is a powerful way to deliver a message.  More modern art should be developed to help deliver Christian messages to Christians and promote Christianity in the public.  While one endeavor has been to produce creative pictures of scenes and images from the Bible—and that is good—a strategy that should be added to that idea is art that is reflective of what Christianity looks like in modern times.

 

For example, a scene of a police officer helping a child who is lost is an example.  A police officer is a good example because their work is devoted to helping people and keeping them safe.  The work of a police officer can be related to many Christian messages.   

 

Christian art set in today’s world can also help people understand Christian messages more personally.  It can help them see how Christian ideas work today.   This type of art is not meant to supersede art depicting Biblical scenes but instead add to it.
